This is Jessica Dolcourt for CNET here at CES 2013 in Las Vegas.
I'm looking at the Alcatel One Touch Idol and the Idol Ultra.
So these are two different phones very similar.
The ultra is actually the thinner phone by just a hair.
It has a 4.7-inch HD screen, 720p HD.
And it runs Android
4.1 Jellybean on it.
Another difference is that the Idol Ultra has an AMOLED screen and the regular idol has an LCD display.
The Idol Ultra also has a 1.2 gigahertz dual-core processor and the idol has 1 gigahertz dual-core processor.
They both have 8 megapixel cameras with flash and capture HD video.
The Idol has a 1.3 megapixel camera and the Idol Ultra has 2 megapixel front-facing camera.
Even though both of these phones are thin, they do have some rounding on the edges so you don't feel uncomfortable to hold in your hands.
They look really nice.
Of the two phones, only the Idol is going to be coming to the U.S. but there is no pricing or carrier information yet.
