Netflix isn't always perfect.
Videos will freeze, stop, buffer, and jump until you finally shut the whole thing down and restart your browser.
Next time that happens, tweak a few settings in the hidden Streaming Manager.
When a video plays, hit shift alt on a PC or shift option on a Mac and click your mouse.
There is your hidden menu.
From here to stream manager, now check this box to manually adjust the
Ideally you want the buffer rate to match the playing rate or lower.
And in general lowering the buffering rate means it'll take less time to buffer but you'll get lower quality video.
A higher rate means high quality video but more time buffering.
Hit apply, close the box, wait a few seconds and hopefully your video will play back without any issues.
Now go watch another episode of House of Cards without any interruptions.
