Hi, everybody.
My name is Alexandra Able.
I'm a social media producer at cnet.com, and I'm here with my wonderful friend, Abrar.
Hello.
She is on her first break during the 59 hour Marvel Movie Marathon.
We thought we'd check in, see how she's doing, get her some of her favorite food.
And just kind of see how's the overall vibe.
How are you feeling?
I'm still feeling great.
I have lots of energy.
Yeah.
I'm still really excited.
This has been really fun so far so
Yeah.
I'm excited about the rest of it.
So how's the overall vibe in the theater?
How are you doing with your seat mates?
You know, are there a lot of people there?
Give us the lay of the land.
Yeah.
So actually the theater has been surprisingly empty.
I would say more than half of it is empty.
There's nobody sitting on the left.
I do have somebody sitting on the right.
But everyone's just been like, you know, quiet.
Keeping to themselves for the most part.
We got a really cool flag in the beginning.
I've very flattered about that.
Yeah.
Tell us about that.
[INAUDIBLE] They gave us blankets which is really nice.
I actually brought my own, like, fleece blanket because I didn't expect them to be so prepared.
We also got the cutest like, miniature Like itty bitty toothpaste like this big.
It was like so small and a little toothbrush.
They are putting hygiene above everything else, yeah, that's important.
Honestly they know like it's important for everybody's sake that everyone smells fresh, they're like emmense
Imagine if your best friend was smelling bad.
[LAUGH]
My God, that would be terrible.
I think they should have put a body spray in there too
But like maybe or maybe not
[MUSIC]
So, we know that you do pray five times a day.
How're you adjusting to that schedule?
Has it been easy, has it been hard?
What's the situation?
Yeah, it's been surprisingly easy.
So far, I've done two prayers already.
Slow, so silk little corner right behind the theater where there's just empty space.
And like nobody like really goes over there.
But like actually it had all this like toilet paper stocked up for End Game.
They were like, there's going to be so many people so we have to stock up on toilet paper.
So I just like prayed behind these boxes.
[LAUGH]
But it's quiet.
You gotta do what you gotta do.
You do what you gotta do, exactly.
Yeah, that's good.
So it's perfect.
You've been maintaining [UNKNOWN] nothing's been rattled.
Yeah.
Nothing's been changed.
No, it's been surprisingly-
That's what I like to hear.
Right?
Yeah.
It's been surprisingly easy.
I've been trying to take advantage of the ten-minute breaks between most of the movies.
Although it goes by like that.
[SOUND]
Yeah, I'm sure, I'm sure.
And what's the food situation?
I know that you very much
Very quickly requested super duper when I asked what food you wanted.
I wanted burgers because Tony Stark ate a burger in iron man and I was like that sounds so good so I was like I have to have a burger.
Obviously.
classic.
Right.
I mean Tony comes back he's been in hell and he,
...he just decides that a burger
That what he needs.
That's what you have to do.
We can relate
Ok so tonight you're spending your first overnight in the theater.
I'm assuming this is the first time you've ever been in a theater overnight.
Yep.
What's your strategy, what's your game plan.
I feel like my strategy is just winging it.
I kind of wish- the reclining chairs are really nice.
I wish they reclined a little bit more.
I feel like you cannot fully lay down...
[MUSIC]
But I figured out that if I take a blanket, and I scrunch it up, and then I put it on the armrest, than I can lay my head down and sleep that way.
So that's going to be how I plan to, I hope, I really hope it's a quiet movie [LAUGH] for those two hours Loud.
I really tried to take a nap and I just kept waking up.
All right, is there anything else that you wanna tell everybody before we sign off?
I don't think so.
I'm super-excited about the rest of it.
