Here are five quick tips to get the most out of your Mac.
If you have a bunch of windows open and want to arrange them side by side, use split view.
Click Can hold the green button in the top left corner.
Drag the window to the right.
Or release the mouse to leave it on the left.
Lost your cursor?
Wiggle your mouse quickly and you will see what happens.
Add video and audio to your notes just by dragging and dropping a file.

El Capitan lets you search with natural language in text and speech.
For better dictation results go to System Preferences, Dictation & Speech, turn Dictation on, but make sure Use Enhanced Dictation is selected.
Now to search, open Spotlight and double-tap the Function key.

The mail app borrows gestures from iOS.
Swipe two fingers to the left on your trackpad or mouse to trash an email.
Or to the right to mark as read.
