What's $699, gigantic, and lets you slip and slide with special shoes to feel like you're running in VR?
Virtuix Omni, a virtual reality accessory that's now finally available to buy after years on Kickstarter.
Virtuix Omni doesn't come with a VR headset or a game system or even a controller for your hands.
But the Omni does act like a giant game controller for your feet, but letting you walk around and turn that into movements in first-person games.
Omni has Bluetooth, and works with PC and mobile VR systems like the Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, and even Samsung Gear VR, but it doesn't work with game consoles yet.
You need to wear special included slippery Omni shoes, to let you slide over curved ramps inside the Omni, And clip-on trackers work like little Fitbits to record your steps and movement.
The gun I'm holding is a separate third-party accessory, it's not included either.
$700 is a lot to spend on a strange accessory, even if it claims to make you fit.
It wore me out after just a few minutes and it hurt my ankles.
But if you have dreams of making a private VR arcade in your living room while sparing no expense, Omni mic complete the package.
So, take breaks and find turn on massagers feet afterwards.
