2020 BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe: A feisty little four-door with loads of style

This is the BMW two series Gran Coupe, which is making its world debut right here at the 2019 Los Angeles Auto Show.
Now two different versions of this car will be offered in America, both of which will come with all wheel drive.
This four door coupe should bring some visual excitement to the bottom end of BMW's lineup.
It's got a low and lean look to it.
Plus, it's got frameless windows and standard LED headlights.
It's the BMW 228i x drive grand coupe features a two liter turbocharged four cylinder engine that is rated at 228 horsepower and 258 pound feet of torque.
It's bolted to an eight speed automatic transmission and that drive train combo shouldn't be able to get you to 60 miles an hour in about six seconds.
The vehicles top speed is 130 miles an hour when you run the standard no season tires.
Sorry, all season tires but if you opt for performance rubber, that speed increases to a buck 51 But if that's not enough, you're gonna want to step up to the M235IX drive grande coupe it takes that same basic two liter engine but engineers have upgraded is significantly adding higher flow injectors, larger main bearings, new pistons, a huskier turbocharger, and a lot more The end result of all that work, 301 horsepower with 332 pound feed of torque.
And when properly equipped, this car is pretty quick, it should be able to get you to 60 miles an hour in as little as 4.6 seconds.
A sports suspension package is offered on the 228i, though it is standard on the m235i, lowering the right height about ten millimeters for improved handling.
Beyond that, either version of the car can be had with adjustable damper The two series Grand coupe can be had with two different multimedia systems, BMW live cockpit with iDrive6 and an 8.8 inch display is standard, but from there you can step up to BMW Live cockpit professional with iDrive7 and a part of ten and a quarter inch screens.
A full color head of display is also available.

Production of the two series Grand Coupe starts this month with delivery estimated to begin in March.
