2018 Toyota Sienna wanders into a very hot segment
Believe it or not, the minivan segment is heating up.
Chrysler has a new Pacifica and Honda has got a new Odyssey on the way.
Toyota is not about to let those shots go unanswered though.
[UNKNOWN] rolled out to refresh Sienna.
At first glance, not much has changed.
There's a new front bumper, a larger grille.
And no, that's about it really.
It's also packing the same three and a half liter V6, putting out 296 horsepower and 263 pound feet of torque.
The Sienna remains the only minivan to offer all-wheel drive as well.
The biggest changes are all technological in nature.
There are now five USB ports across all three rows.
And the rear seat entertainment system now features streaming capability for Android devices.
The standard EnTune Infotainment system uses a paired smartphone as a nav system on lower trims with proper navigation as standard on the top-tier limited Toyota's suite of safety systems is now also standard across the whole Sienna line up.
Toyota Safety Sense P, which is a name that will make you giggle if you're six-years old, includes adaptive cruise control, lane departure mitigation, automatic high beams, and autonomous emergency braking.
The 2018 Toyota Sienna should be at dealerships this fall, and pricing has not yet been announced.
