We got behind the wheel of the 2017 Ford F-150 pickup truck, and here are five things that you need to know.
It's available with four different engines, both naturally aspirated, and turbo charged, but most people will find the 3.5 liter twin turbo eco boost V-6 their best option.
Other engines get a 6-speed automatic transmission, but the 3.5 liter EcoBoost is paired with a 10-speed automatic.
The F-150 can be outfitted to tow 12,200 pounds and there's a cool reverse assist to help you back that thing up.
Adaptive cruise control is not standard and it doesn't work below 12 mph.
So, it's pretty useless in stop and go traffic.
The F-150 starts at $27,000 for the base XL, but the top of the line limited starts at about $60,000.
So yeah, it can get pretty pricey.
