Here's what's new to watch in October. Over on HBO's streaming service Curb Your Enthusiasm returns for its 9th season on October 1. Season 8 ended way back in 2011. Episodes in season 9 are going to be longer than the usual 30 minutes. On October 7, HBO will have a documentary entitled Spielberg about a little-known director named Steven Spielberg. Over on Netflix, get ready for Stranger Things 2. The series returns on October 27th, with nine episodes. So now you know what you're doing on that Friday. On Friday the 13th you can watch Talladega Nights, The Ballad of Ricky Bobby starring Will Farrell and Sascha Barron Cohen on Netflix. 80s kids, Voltron, Legendary Defender Season Four arrives on Netflix on the 13th as well. Speaking of the 1980s, you can catch the third season of Red Oaks on October 20th over on Amazon Prime. Amazon Prime will also carry NFL Thursday night football games every Thursday in October. Bad news: every episode of 30 Rock leaves Netflix by October 1st. Good news: every episode of 30 Rock arrives on Hulu on October 1st. Hulu will have lots of season premiers in October. On October 2nd catch the season premiers of Bob's Burgers, The Last Man on Earth, and The Simpsons. On October 3rd watch the series premier of The Gifted, that's a television show that's attached to the X-Men movie universe. Those were just some of the highlights.
