Twitter implements safety features, Bezos bats down Amazon rumors

In an effort to make Twitter an overall safer place, the company has instituted a number of changes to help curb abusive behavior on the platform.
These include steps to prevent users that have been permanently banned from making new accounts.
Hiding tweets that are overly abusive and also adding a safe search that will filter out sensitive content.
According to TechCrunch, Waze carpool has completed it's Bay Area roll out that seeks to connect drivers and passengers to maximize transportation efficiency.
The idea isn't meant to compete with ride sharing services, but instead remain utilitarian.
As a result, drivers aren't vetted and the fee for a ride is not more than the current average federal mileage rate.
And finally, while a story published in Sunday's New York Post claims Amazon is working on a nearly robotic supermarket CEO Jeff Bezos took to Twitter to deflect the entire report.
The company also pushed back on the story from December, where the Wall Street Journal reported Amazon was planning on opening 2,000 grocery stores in the future.
