This Whirlpool washer does everything wellWhirlpool's $1,199 WFW87HEDW is a well-rounded washing machine that makes laundry less of a chore.
[MUSIC] This $1199 Whirlpool washing machine is kind of a middle child. It's not a high end model and it isn't an entry level either, so it's often overlooked. But I actually really really like these washers. So it doesn't have a lot of the bells and whistles. Of more premium options. You won't find a related app or any serious specialty cycles. But what you do get is ten cleaning cycles and a steam function. And everything works really well. It's intuitive. It's simple to use. I like the touch pad. The controls are easy. It has a 4.3 cubic foot capacity which is a good size for a model at this price. The one thing I don't really like is the tones that the buttons make. [SOUND] They have this really loud sort of annoying music Musical tone, but that you can turn that off easily, so I'm willing to let that slide. If you're not totally sold on this front-load Whirlpool washer, I'd definitely take a look at the Electrolux model I just reviewed. It does do slightly better in terms of stain removal, but It is tougher on clothes. So overall, this is a really nice washer. It performs well, it's easy to use, and it has just enough features to be a reasonable upgrade without breaking the bank. [MUSIC]
