The M3D Micro 3D printer is a nice toy
Hi guys, this is M3D micro 3D printer.
Now you would not need a magnifier to see it, it's right in front of me.
But it's indeed very small.
In fact, the smallest we've seen compared to others.
Now the micro also has a small build size.
For example, this queen right here is about as tall an object you can build And by the way, this took the printer three hours to make.
And this fat king right here, nine hours.
so it's slow, about as slow other printer of a same technology called fused filament fabrication.
Now, the print quality is also a data-based technology.
You can only tell that this is a 3D printed object, and that no way I can make a convincing replica of any part of my body.
Even this little finger.
It's just too smooth and gorgeous.
Anyhow, as for print materials, the printer use standard film [UNKNOWN] in spool like this Now you can hide the spool underneath the print platform, or you could have it hang out the printer.
Either way is fine, but the printer can only work with one spool at a time.
Now in testing, the printer was easy to use, but it can only print directly from a computer.
There's no SD card or USB slot.
And the computer have to be connected to it the entire time of the print.
So if you print a large object make sure you cross your fingers.
Now this is what happen when the printer was disconnected mid way.
The queen here has no head.
So all things considered this is a fun to use printer and in fact it cost only $350 helps.
So if you want to gingerly enter the world of 3D printing, this is a safe buy.
Just make sure you have low expectations, which I always do.
For example, I bet that my little finger now will have more attention from you than this printer.
But that's to be expected.
I'm **** Ngo.
