The futuristic Xiaomi Mi Mix is amazing
Meet this Xiamoi Mi Mix, an Android phone with a striking 6.4 inch screen that occupies almost the entire front of the phone in a beautiful bevel-free design.
The Mix screen extends all the way to the top and without space above it, you might be wondering where the speaker goes.
Instead a [UNKNOWN] electric drive vibrates the phone screen, turning the phone itself into a speaker.
An ultrasonic proximity sensor underneath the screen detects when you put your face to the phone.
the front facing camera sits on the bottom, and turning the phone upside down gives a traditional placement.
The real of the mix is ceramic with a high gloss finish that gives it a premium look, while maintaining scratch resistant.
But like any other high gloss surface, this phone is quite the fingerprint magnet.
It's also where you find the mix fingerprint sensor and a 16 megapixel camera.
Now the camera isn't the best when it comes to low light shots, but it takes ettiquite photos in bright lighting conditions Though there's quite a bit of noise.
It also doesn't come with Google Services installed.
You have to do that yourself.
It makes sports the fastest processor in the market the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 and gaming on the large [INAUDIBLE] display is a treat.
The battery life is phenomenal and you'll be easily able to get through a day of heavy use without charging.
The mix has plenty of storage space with Sony offering 128 and 256 gigabyte options.
With dual [UNKNOWN] slots, the [UNKNOWN] work on some Australian and UK networks, but the [UNKNOWN] mix is not only available in limited quantities, it's also only sold in China for about $510 US dollars.
But Americans thinking about importing one, beware the mix offers very little hardware support for US [UNKNOWN].
The Xiaomi Mi Mix is one heck of a phone, and while the camera could be better, overall it's impressive in every other way.
