Take a trip down memory lane with Google Maps TimelineYou use Google Maps all the time to figure out where you are going. Now, CNET's Sharon Profis explains how to use the Timeline feature in Maps to see all the places you've been.
[MUSIC] If you use Google Maps on your Smartphone, there's a good chance your timeline is already filled with places you've visited. Timeline is available on the Android version of Google Map, but it's best viewed on a desktop browser. To get started, head to google.com/maps/timeline. Here, log in with your Google account. You'll see a world map with markers on the places you've gone. You can also zoom in particular cities to get a more detail view and click on dots to see address or point of interest. It's a neat way to look back on places you visited during a vacation or even just your weekend trip. And if you'd rather not have Google track your whereabouts, you can check out our tutorial on how to disable it on cnet.com. In San Francisco, I'm Sharon Profis, cnet.com, CBS news. [SOUND]
