Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc
Hi, I'm Sharon Vaknin for CNET.com here with the first look at the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc.
Until today, you might have known this phone by its code names like Anzu, but the name Arc is pretty appropriate.
Its shape like an arc and it's really, really thin.
The arc will run Android 2.3 and it comes with a 1 gigahertz processor.
It also features a 4.2-inch screen and 8 megapixel camera,
and it can shoot video and 720p.
The Xperia arc comes with all of the standard Android features, but it also has Sony's branded features like the Reality Engine, which upgrades video and pictures to make them look more realistic.
One upgrade from its predecessor, which was the X10 is HDMI out, so you can view your 720p videos on your television.
Overall, the Xperia arc is a nice upgrade from the X10.
It's a lot slimmer and more light weight.
And the HDMI is also a nice feature.
For CNET.com, I'm Sharon Vaknin and this was the first look at the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc.
