Samsun introduced a new upgrade program for Galaxy Note 7 buyers in South Korea.
if those customers trade in their Notes for either version of the Galaxy S7 next year, those customers will be able to upgrade to a Galaxy S8, or a Note 8,
[INAUDIBLE] People who enroll in the upgrade program will be able to obtain a Galaxy S7 at half price.
This also seems to confirm that Samsung will not abandon the Notes brand.
Apple released a new version of IOS.
IOS 10.1 brings a portrait mode to the iPhone 7 Plus, which simulates a depth of field effect using the two rear cameras on the Plus.
The portrait mode is labelled as a beta.
The IOS update also brings some new options to the message app, and bug fixes.
A report by IDC says the smartwatch market has declined over 50 percent in the third quarter of 2016 compared to the same time last year.
In 2015 5.6 million smartwatches were shipped in the third quarter.
This year 2.7 million units shipped in two three.
IDC says Apple is a leader in the smart watch market with Garmin as the number two vendor.
And Microsoft will hold a hardware event on Wednesday, October 26th.
The company is rumored to introduce a new Surface All-in-One PC.
