>> I'm David Carnoy [assumed spelling], executive editor for cnet.com. I'm here to give you a little video tour of the RCA Small Wonder Traveler Easy 210. This camcorder comes with a two gigabyte removable SD card, and you can either buy more cards so you have more storage on hand, or you can get a high capacity card, up to eight gigabytes, so you can store lots of video on this camera. The included two gig card gives you about four hours of video in the high quality mode. There's also a lower quality mode, but we recommend that you go with the higher quality mode if possible. This is considered a rugged mini camcorder, it's a little bit of an odd duck. It's also got a nice big LCD on the back. It's a two point five inch LCD, really sharp. The buttons also are a little bigger, it takes double A batteries, not rechargeable batteries, and it has another funky design element, this little piece of plastic on the top. We weren't sure exactly what it was at first. We weren't sure whether it was some sort of weird lens hood, or was designed to protect the lens. It's actually something for carrying the camera. They also talk about a neck strap, you could attach it to the top and wear this camera around your neck. The other small design flaw is that the USB connector is actually under this plastic piece on top, so you have to remove it to get to the USB connector, and that's a little bit annoying. We're not sure how rugged the camera is. We dropped it from about five or six feet onto a carpeted floor, survived just fine. It isn't waterproof, so you can't take it in the water. All in all the video quality was pretty good.

It was able to compensate for brightly lit scenes, and ratchet down the exposure correctly. I'm David Carnoy, and that's the Small Wonder Traveler Easy 210.
