Sutu, also known as Stu Campbell is behind Prosthetic Reality.
It brings together works by 45 artists from around the world.
The real magic when the book is viewed through a free app called Eyejack.
After downloading a 175 megabyte pack, the app brings the drawings to life, complete with sound effects.
Campbell says the collection is diverse, ranging from hand-drawn illustrations to technical 3D animations, to powerful political narrative.
Art from the book is also on display at the No Vacancy Gallery in Federation Square in Melbourne, Australia until February 12.
The exhibit will travel to Sydney in March.
Campbell envisions a future where wearables make such augmented reality a More seamless than waving a phone over a book.
