>> Hi. I'm David Katzmaier, Senior Editor with CNET, and I'm sitting next to the Panasonic TC-L32X1. This is one of the few TVs on the market that's specifically designed to work with iPod. It comes with a little iPod dock right here, and you can put your iPod, your iPhone, your iTouch, your iThis, your iThat, whatever you want in that thing, although it's not compatible with all i-devices. You know, just have to check the review to find out exactly which ones. This review does apply to the 37 and the 26-inch TV. This is the 32-inch model, so it's available in a range of smaller screen sizes. This TV's iPod functionality encompasses music, videos, but it doesn't have photo capabilities. So if you want photo streaming, you got to chose another iPod compatible TV. This one's video and music streaming works really well, and you can also get podcasts on there, video podcasts or audio podcasts. There's also categories for breaking it down for rentals and different types of videos. You can also do music categories of artists, album, you know, the usual. You can also shuffle and repeat, so it does have pretty much full functionality. The onscreen interface is also pretty cool, although you cannot adjust aspect ration on the videos, so you got to look with that kind of stretch to screen unless it's designed for a 16 by 9 screen. Aside from the iPod functionality, this TV is pretty slick looking. It's glossy black around the edge here. There's also a stand included, although the stand does not swivel. Around back you'll find pretty good connectivity with two HDMI, one component video, and a PC input for a low-resolution computer connections. This is not a 1080P TV, but not a really big deal at this screen size. On the side panel there is a third HDMI input. When we took the TV into the lab, we were relatively impressed by it's picture quality. It's not gonna blow away the best TVs on the market, but it does have okay black levels and okay color accuracy. You can't really adjust the picture, though, so if you're the kind of person that likes to go in there and tweak the picture a lot, you're not gonna find too much to do on this TV. But again, the real sell here is the iPod functionality. That's a quick look at the Panasonic TC-LX1 series, and I'm David Katzmaier.
