CNET First Look
Nokia N82The Nokia N82 has some annoying design flaws and lacks 3G support, but our lasting impression of the N82 is of a powerful multimedia smartphone with excellent imaging capabilities and solid performance.
[ Music ] ^M00:00:02 >> Hi, I'm Bonnie Cha, Senior editor at CNET.com and today we're taking a First Look at the Nokia N82. This is the latest model in the N Series and it's pretty much like the N95, a couple of additions and a couple of omissions. It's a got a 5-megapixel camera, but they also add a flash, so you get amazing photos and videos. I was really, really impressed with it. It's also got Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth, like the N95 and it's running Symbian Operating System. Some things I didn't like is the design. These keys are really just horrible, they're really small and hard to press and I had problems with my small fingers. Also, the navigation controls are really cramped here as well. And you also don't get 3G support, so that's one by merit. However, if you're looking for a really high-end multimedia phone, the N82 is great. There's no US carrier backing, so you're gonna pay about $550, so it's pretty expensive, but like I said, if you want a really high-end camera phone, this is a great one to get. I'm Bonnie Cha, and this has been your first look at the Nokia N82. ^M00:00:56 [ Music ]
