Most popular products for MarchThese are the products CNET users have been looking at the most this month.
Welcome to CNET Top 5, the show that counts. I'm Tom Merritt. It is time for our regular visit to the tote board of CNET traffic to find out what the most popular products are based on the pages you, the CNET reader, have visited. Let's count down the top 5 most popular products. At No. 5, The BlackBerry Bold 9700. All you care about are phones, and this is one T-Mobile users care a lot about. Sucky browser? Doesn't seem to bother you. Coming in at No. 4, the Apple iPhone 3GS. The most popular AT&T phone on the list. We sort of expect we might see a new one in a couple months, but you're obviously still interested in this one for now. Up to No. 3, the HTC Droid Eris. Smaller than its more hyped cousin, and cheaper, too. Plus, Droid Eris users, like Palm Pixi users, are rabidly in love with their phones. It's like joining a cult. Sliding in at No. 2, the HTC Nexus One. And interestingly, you seem to prefer the unlocked one, although T-Mobile users can get it for cheaper. This is the one to get if you're going to the TED conference and want to stand out from the iPhone-using crowd. Before we get to No. 1, time for another lame prize. You wanna know what's more popular than every phone on this list? The Millenium Falcon. It's the ship that made the Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs. She's fast enough for you, old man. And she could be yours. Here's the question. The Millenium Falcon is a standard light freighter. What kind? Be one of the first ten to get the answer correct at blog.cnettv.com, and you'll win her in a game of Sabacc from me. All right. Let's get to our No. 1, the most popular gadget on CNET based on your pageviews. At No. 1, it's...the Motorola Droid. It's Android. It's got a physical keyboard. And most importantly, it's on Verizon. So despite the iPhone and Nexus One's flashy good looks, you're most interested in the workhorse smartphone for the carrier often perceived to be most reliable. Second month on top, too. A Droid dynasty? Well, that's it for this edition of CNET Top 5. Don't forget to answer the lame prize question at blog.cnettv.com for a chance to win the Corell's Pride, the Fickle Flyer, the Millenium Falcon. I'm Tom Merritt. May the force be with you, always.
