LG Vu Plus (AT&T): First Look
First Look: LG Vu Plus (AT&T)1:33 /
Despite a few design issues, the LG Vu Plus is a full-featured messaging phone with the bonus of live mobile television.
>>I'm Nicole Lee, Associate Editor for CNET.com and this is a first look at the LG Vu Plus from AT&T. This is AT&T's latest phone to support AT&T Mobile TV which is AT&T's live mobile TV service. As you can see on the front here is a nice 3-inch display, very nice and colorful and you get up to three different home screens; one home screen for the widgets, one home screen is for application shortcuts and one home screen for your favorite contacts. At the bottom row of each home screen are shortcuts to the phone dialer, the contacts list, the messaging inbox and well as the main menu. On the back here is a 3.0 megapixel camera as well as a LED flash. The phone also slides open to reveal a full QWERTY keyboard. The keyboard seems quite roomy and the keys are raised above the surface but we found the keys a little too close to each other to type comfortably. Features include the aforementioned 3.0 megapixel camera and camcorder. Of course, you also get AT&T Mobile TV service. You also get 3G or HSDPA speeds gives it access to AT&T's streaming services like AT&T Mobile Video and AT&T Mobile Music. You also get a music player on here as well as GPS with AT&T Navigator. You also get stereo Bluetooth as well as HTML web browser. The LG Vu Plus is available for around $150 with a new two-year service agreement with AT&T. I'm Nicole Lee. This has been the first look at the LG Vu Plus.
