Lenovo builds a projector into the Yoga Tablet 2 ProThis high-end 13-inch Android tablet has a surprise in its rounded kickstand hinge, a built-in pico projector.
[MUSIC] I'm Dan Ackerman and we are here to take a look at the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 Pro. Now this guys a pro because even though it runs Android like a lot of the other, Yoga tablets, it's in a larger 13' screen. Something you don't see very often in an Android tablet. Like the other yoga tablets it has this rounded hinge with a kickstand that comes out from the back. Unlike them it adds an extra little sub-woofer in the back. And one other big surprise, it's got a projector built right into this rounded hinge. So if I flip up the software button and turn it on like this,. You can see right here, you can project anything you have on screen using the projector. Now that's probably gonna eat up your battery life so you'll obviously keep it off if you're not using it. But it's a super handy extra to have if, let's say, you're watching movies in a dark room with a bunch of people or you're giving a presentation and you want to throw. Your slide show on the screen without plugging it into an H.D.M. I. cable to get it on to a big monitor. It's certainly something we haven't seen before in in any other tablet. This should be out in time for holiday 2014 at $499. I'm Ben Ackman. And that's the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 Pro.
