IOS 10 has arrived.
Here are seven settings to change to maximize your privacy and customize your phone.
Like previous versions, IOS 10 is keeping track of where you've been when you connect to Wi-Fi.
Stop your phone tracking frequent locations by going to settings Privacy, Location Services, System Services, find Frequent Locations, and toggle off.
You can also Clear History from this screen.
The default way to unlock your device on iOS 10 is to press the home button rather than touch Touching it.
Change this by going to Settings > General > Accessibility > Home Button.
And toggle on Rest Finger to Open.
It's time to lock down the lock screen.
To prevent other people replying to messages using Siri and more, Go to Settings, touch ID and Passcode, scroll to Allow Access When Locked.
Toggle Off Reply With Message, Siri, and anything else you don't want seen.
To get rid of widgets all together, toggle off to day view.
Now when you swipe right from the locked screen nothing appears.
Raise to wake is a great way to see notifications without unlocking your phone, but it can eat up battery.
Tap settings, display and brightness, toggle off raise to wake.
You'll only see raise Raise to Wake if you a phone with an M9 motion co-processor on [UNKNOWN] like the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, 6s and 6s Plus and iPhone SE.
IOS 10 now let's you turn on individual iMessage read receipts.
Go into a message thread and type the i icon for the contact.
Then toggle on or off Send Read Receipts If you're running low on data, send low quality images.
In settings go to Messages and Low Quality Image Mode.
And your final easter egg, use the camera as a magnifier.
Go to General, Accessibility and Magnifier.
Triple click the home button in the camera app to zoom.
