Mobile World Congress 2017
HTC adds a splash of color to three new Desire phonesAt Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, HTC took the wraps off three new Desire phones, the 530, the 630 and the 825. Slim and trim, they stick to the middle of the road on features.
[MUSIC] HTC's Desire range of [UNKNOWN] smartphones have been given a quite literal splash of color to brighten your day. There are three new additions to the Desire range, 530, 630, and 825. And all three share the two-tone polycarbonate body with these lovely dabs of paint splashed all over. I'm quite keen on the look. It's a nice bit of fun, and certainly a lot brighter than many other budget handsets. If you want a more personal look, you can even attach a lanyard or one of those charms to the loop on the back. The 530 and 630 are physically identical, packing 5-inch 720p displays and front-firing BoomSound speakers. They both run Android Marshmallow with HTC Sense interface over the top and both of them have [INAUDIBLE] 16 gigabytes of storage. While the 530 has an 8 megapixel camera, though, the 630 has a 13 megapixel camera, and a slightly more powerful processor, as well. The A25, meanwhile, has a larger, 5.5 inch 720 b display, a 13 megapixel camera, and, also, has 16 gigabytes of storage. So, it's really just about that larger screen. All 3 phones are due to go on sale in March, although prices and regional availability are yet to be announced. Keep it CNET for more for this year's Mobile World Congress.
