HP adds a colorful new 14-inch ChromebookFor the same price as other Chome OS laptops, HP's new Chromebook includes a high-res display.
Chromebooks are getting bigger and some would say better. I'm Dan Ackerman, this is HP's latest, the 14 inch HP chromebook 14. It's got kind of a sophisticated look compared to a lot of the other budget chromebooks we've seen. [UNKNOWN] blue and wi-fi, even though it's only 250 dollars. Pretty close to the bottom end of the Kubrick price scale there although you do get some nice high end features. It's got a full HD screen that's 1920 by 1080 and that's an IPS panel so you can look at it from the side angle and it actually still looks fine, the picture doesn't fade away. You get a current gen Intel Celeron processor, pretty much the same you'd get even with a budget windows machine. Although HP does throw in a bunch of extras to sweeten the pot. You get 100 gigs of Google Drive cloud storage, that's fine, but I'm more excited about the 12 months of free Gogo Inflight Internet service. Based on the last time I flew, that could practically make the machine pay for itself. That's HP's new 14-inch Chromebook 14. [MUSIC]
