Hound is the personal assistant for your complicated requests
This is Hound, a new personal assistant app trying to rival Siri and Google Now.
It can tell you the weather, get sports scores, and search the web, but what makes it really special is that it can understand long, complicated questions.
The best example of this is when you're looking for a restaurant.
[SOUND] Find me 80 restaurants nearby that have wi fi, but exclude Thai, and Japanese.
Here are several Asian restaurants that provide free wi-fi, excluding Thai restaurants, Japanese restaurants, or sushi bars.
This also works for hotel searches.
[SOUND] Find me a hotel in San Francisco from April 26th to April 30th, for under $500 a night, Pet friendly.
Showing ten results with availability in San Francisco for Saturday, April 30th, for maximum of $500 US per night that are pet friendly.
It also works for more general inquiries like the time.

Houd is also the first personal assistant that can summon you an Uber ride.
