Heartbeats by Lady Gaga Headphones from Monster
>> Jasmine France: [Inaudible] Oh sorry if anyone embodies style over practicality it's Lady Gaga and her headphones are no exception. I'm Jasmine France and we're taking a first look at the Heartbeat by Lady Gaga headphones from Monster. Yes even the name is over the top. Clearly the Heartbeats are not for the faint of heart. Oh yeah I went there. Certainly these earphones have unique and eye catching design that is like no other we've seen. The ear pieces are large, shiny and triangular with the repetition of triangles etched onto the outer edge. Here you can choose form 3 colors: Bright chrome, black chrome, and rose red which is really just another way of saying pink. The cable is Monsters signature flat ribbon cable which made an appearance in the tour by Dr. Dre in ear headphones. Here where the Y cable comes together you get a bit more of Lady Gaga, an accent piece with her signature. Sure the style is in your face but there is certainly those to whom it might appeal and hey at least it's unique. More of an issue for me is the horrible discomfort that is a result of actually wearing the headphones. The triangular shape and large size combined to put uncomfortable pressure on the ear and have a tendency to push the ear buds out. Not a pleasant experience overall but at least you get this cool carrying case. The other problem is the overpowering low end which makes some music sound muddy. So so sound quality and poor fit for $99, only if you must insist on embodying the essence of Lady Gaga. As for me, dressing up like her has been punishment enough. I'm Jasmine France and this has been a first look at the Heartbeats by Lady Gaga headphones. [ Background music ] Bye bye little monsters. This wig is cutting off my brain power.
