GoPro camera gets torture tested with liquid nitrogen at CES
-I want you guys to know we got clearance for this little stunt from-- like the County Fire Marshall and then the-- the--
-Clark County Fire Department
-Clark County Fire Department and all.
We have a Fire Marshall's Inspections this morning.
It's all been extremely exciting for me.
Okay, this doesn't fit that well, I'm just gonna put them right here.
-So which one are we gonna--
-First, let's go-- I think we should go with the GoPro, which look, is recording--
-Oh okay, as we go.
So as it goes to its doom.
Got our little fryer basket.
Going towards the-- Oh my god.
The light is still flashing.
I mean, GoPro.
It's-- seriously though, it's still
recording right now, with the fryer basket stuck to the side.
-Now do you want to drop that thing?
-Not this-- not this one.
Look at that-- look though.
Near as I can tell, even though there is cold smoke coming off of it, this is a highly unexpected outcome, I have to say.
How long is it gonna-- I can feel the cold by the way through this gloves like an inch thick.
How long does it gonna take to warm up?
That's a good question but I don't know.
Each item is different, you know, with this one--
- Yes that's true.
we're gonna set-- I hear like cracking as it's warming up though.
I think the plastic is starting to crack as it warms up.
Alright, well this is dramatic though 'cause the camera inside-- still okay.
I'm calling this a "conditional survival", and I am pretty surprised.
