And here are the stories that matter right now.
Google held an event on Wednesday that saw the debut of the Pixel 2 and 2 XL, the successors to the company's smartphones first released last year.
Pixel 2 and 2 XL are water resistant and will come in a five and six inch screen respectively.
It boasts the same experience across both devices including an always on display and active edge which requires a quick squeeze to start Google's Visual Assistant.
The Pixel 2 and 2 XL can be preordered and now and will start at $649 and $849.
Google also announced a new Pixel Book laptop that features a 12.3 inch touch display, 10 hours of battery and instant tethering.
It'll come loaded with Chrome OS, which Google says is more secure.
A Pixelbook pen can be a so be bought separately for $99 that will interact with the touchscreen on the laptop.
The Pixelbook itself will start at 999.
A new smaller Google Home Mini was also announced for $49, which is essentially just a smaller version of the company's digital assistant speaker.
Google Home max though is a high end speaker that can analyze a room for optimal sound and will go for $399.00 when it arrives in December.
Google also used the event to announce Google Lens photo recognition technology that will soon hit all pixel phones, $159.00 Google pixel buds.
That will work with Pixel phones and include touch gestures.
And finally, Google Clips, a small square shaped camera that will analyze scenes and decide when to capture images and short movies.
The experimental camera will arrive later on.
