Google's new MODE bands for Android Wear watches swap out easy
If you're shopping for a smartwatch, you gotta find a good looking band.
There are a lot of band options for Android wear, but Google now has its own technology, MODE, that's gonna be available in a new line of bands launching now.
MODE is gonna be available in different sizes and colors, and for now, two different price tiers, $50 for silicone and $60 for leather.
And the one I'm wearing right now is on a Wowa watch.
The thing that's interesting about this, there are a ton of bands.
But Mode uses a different type of a latch mechanism.
It's pretty cool.
You can slide this up and then pop it off really easily.
It basically opens up the mechanism completely, and then you can re-attach it.
But you're gonna have to make sure you've got the right compatible watch.
There are a lot of watch sizes.
And a lot of watch models, and when shopping they'll tell you which one, but that's the challenge with Android wear.
It's not one model, and you don't know necessarily which band will look good on which watch.
That's [INAUDIBLE] in a nutshell.
Get another watch band to try on your Android wear watch.
