[MUSIC] Hello everybody. I'm Lynn Law for CNET and today we're gonna check out the Sharp Aquos Crystal for Boost Mobile. Now it's been a very, very long time. Since we head of a new phone coming from Sharp, but this device made waves during its announcement due to it's bold, frameless design. As you can see, the touch screen runs all the way to the edge of the phone which might just sound like a gimmick, but really, it makes the phone look futuristic, and it's just kind of cool. In addition, I assume that this lack of a [UNKNOWN] would make this hand set difficult to operate. But that wasn't really the case and whenever I navigated through the device, I didn't run into any problems with accidental taps and swipes. As in that the five inch display is pretty standard with it's seven twenty pixel resolution and two ninety three PPI. Below the screen you can also see there's a deep chin here which holds a 1.2 megapixel camera and the microphone. The Aquos Crystal runs Android 4.4 Kit Kat and is outfitted with Harmon/Kardon audio technology. The LiveStage feature boosts sound quality when headphones are plugged in and Clari-Fi promises to improve the quality of your compressed [MUSIC] Digital music files. The device is also powered by a 1.2 gigahertz quad core Snapdragon processor and an embedded 2.04 ampere-hour battery. Which yields a reported talk time of up to 13 hours. On the back there's also an eight megapixel camera that's capable of shooting 1080p. Full HD video. Additional features include 8 gigs of internal memory, 1.5 gigs of RAM and up to 128 gigs of external storage support. In general, the phone is a decent handset, but its main draw it that it looks nothing like what you'd usually see with mid-tier devices [MUSIC] Out there. If you're interested it's available prepaid from Boost Mobile for $150 or free from Sprint after you sign a two year contract. Again I'm Linn, and you've been checking out the Sharp Aquos Crystal [MUSIC]
