Get your TV ready for the Super BowlWhether you're a Patriots or Falcons fan, it's time to get your TV ready for the big game.
[MUSIC] Watching the big game? Here's how to get your TV ready for Super Bowl 2017. If you have a high definition cable or satellite box, make sure it's connected over HDMI. The game won't be broadcast in 4K, but you'll still wanna make sure you're tuned into the HD broadcast if you have a compatible TV. For the best picture quality, calibrate your TV. The HDTV picture forum on CNet have calibration settings and instructions for many popular model. Also make sure to turn off any room lighting sensors, automatic brightness controls or energy saver controls. To get an accurate green colour from the field, try turning on the movie, Cinema or THX presets. These modes will make the screen look more realistic than some sports modes that can pump up the color saturation. Don't forget audio. With TV Speakers, make sure the output is set to stereo rather than 5.1 Surround Sound. For sound bars or external sound systems, Play with the equalizer to get the audio as you like it.
