Get started with SnapchatSnapchat is an app that lets you send photos and videos to friends that disappear once viewed. Here are the basics you need to know to start snapping.
[SOUND] Snapchat lets you send photo and video messages called snaps that disappear once viewed. When you launch the app the camera screen appears. Take a photo by tapping the shutter or press and hold to record videos. Draw on snaps using the pen tools. Add text and change its size by tapping on this T icon. You can also add emojis and resize with a pinch action. Geofilters give overlays based on where you are. Turn on location services on your Android or IOS device. Then go to the setting cog in Snapchat. Find additional services and tap manage. Turn on the Filters toggle. Now swipe right on the preview screen on your chat to change colors and add location filters. A snap card lets friends and contacts add you quickly.
