Fallout 4 cheats - God Mode, giant Deathclaws & more
Hey Andy Balin.
What's up Daniel Dwyer?
Fallout 4 is a pretty great game, and we've been capturing footage for it all week, and you've been doing so using some fancy cheats.
Which you can access via the development console.
Tell me about them.
Well who knew all you had to do was press tilde on the English version of the game.
You get a console just like a lot of Bethesda games.
That's the button underneath escape for those of you who don't know.
Yeah, so here we go.
So if you're on the PC, and want God mode.
Just type in tgm that's all you need.
Your God mode?
You got unlimited add-on God mode.
You got unlimited action points in God mode and you don't take damage.
What do you think tgm stands for?>> Totally God mode.
Okay if it wasn't before it is now.
And one of the benefits of this is, well hello plant.
What you can do is then you can go in and your gonna set your jump height.
So here is the toggle command, setgs.
Space F JumpHeightMin with those capitals where you see them.
Capitals are important.
And we're gonna set it to 500 which I think is [INAUDIBLE] I don't know what the [INAUDIBLE] All right.
Let's do it.
Now, if I had it Not.
I probably would die when I came back down.
Can you jump to the top of Red Rocket?
Oh, hell yeah, I can jump on top of Red Rocket.
Suddenly, you're playing Crackdown.
Another one you can use in conjunction with this, is- you wanna set your run speed?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
ANd this is gonna look really funny.
Is it gonna crash?
No, [LAUGH] [LAUGH] ahhhh, and then I jump.
It can load this fast, now we're on a beast PC.
Yeah, this is like a Tri SLI machine.
I think I went off the map.
They haven't quite optimized Fallout four for Benny Hill mode.
No, they haven't.
Oh my god.
There you go, there's how you play the game.
I just played the music over the top.
First person mode.
We didn't try that yet.
Here we go.
Now we're playing Mirror's Edge.
There we are.
Do you think you can parkour your **** in there?
I could parkour in there.
My jump height isn't quite good enough.
Readjust your jump height.
So press up, is it-
To go your previous inputs?
Yeah, that's a nice little trick.
Were we at 500 now or a thousand?
We'll see if there's a ceiling up here.
Nope, oh we're in.
Oh, we loaded in.
I wonder where it's gonna put us, is it gonna put us in the air?
Oh, it just puts me here, alright.
Setting right there somewhere.
Alright let's go in the middle here and show me how to level up.
So here's a cool one.
And one that's easy.
I use this so we could look at some stuff, for guides and stuff.
Player set level, I did 100.
Just, and I was wondering if I would get all of the perks, and you do.
They do not support leveling the player down.
But if you want to level up, it's player.set level, space, and then the number.
Is 100 the top level?
Let's see if I can go to 111
For like a [UNKNOWN] Oh yeah there we go.
And [UNKNOWN] just comes rolling in baby.
And every time you get a [UNKNOWN] you get a perk.
There is no top level.
Okay tell me how to spawn things Andy.
This is where it get's a little bit more complicated.
The base level command is real easy, it's just [UNKNOWN] but then you gotta know ID in like a hexadecimal form of every item you want to place [CROSSTALK]
For NPC's, you can look them up on the Wiki.
On like [UNKNOWN] wiki.com.
And it just has the number, the hexadecimal code there?
So let's say we wanna spy Death Claw in Diamond City.
The thing for that is for a standard Death Claw, now there's all sorts of variations, but the standard one is FF0015A9.
I don't know if that worked.
Yep, sure did.
I hear it sounded like it worked.
So here's what happens when you play the death claw.
Wow, don't have to worry about sense anymore guys, you gotta death claw on your front yard.
Yeah, so, now there's a way to set how big you have [INAUDIBLE]
So let's see if [UNKNOWN] will help.
Okay, yeah he's chewing away the death claw there, but maybe if his jaws were a bit bigger
He could take bigger chunks out of it.
Yeah, so this is an easy one.
Just set the scale.
And then it's a number from 1 to 10.
So let's go big or go home.
Do you just have to look at him?
I haven't tried this yet.
We're doing it.
Nope, apparently that didn't work.
Maybe you have to click on him in the console and do it.
Yes that'll do it.
Oh my God.
Yo, make the Death-claw ten as well.
Yeah, why not?
Okay so you click on the Death-claw and then you just press up, that will do it.
Where'd it go?
Oh my God.
All right, boom [INAUDIBLE].
I [INAUDIBLE] it's like Mars attacks now.
Hi we can hang out with you.
Well that was fun.
Woa woa woa he just flew into the air.
[INAUDIBLE] See this is the type of thing that happens when you cheat with Fallout.
It gets crazy.
It gets crazy.
Look up again, where's he gone?
Oh he's fly, oh, whoa, he died, I think.
[LAUGH] Parts of him raining down from heaven.>> Now, I wonder if you get hella scrap [LAUGH] Now if I loot him
He has like six thousand
I love how your XP isn't going up [LAUGH]
Tell me about the room Andy.
Tell me about the room.
So there's this awesome room that if you wanna see every item in the game and just like so we won't show any [UNKNOWN] stuff, but you can probably stumble onto some named items and other stuff in the boxes that will certainly be a little spoiler.
Also, there's tons of power armors set up So if you don't want to see what the X01 powerman looks like.
But if you played Fallout 2 you know what it looks like.
And it basically just fast drops you to this thing presumably put here for testing purposes by the gamemakers themselves.
It's kind of like this weird world
I think it just has every
Texture and stuff in the game.
Everything you'll find all but crafting stations so you can mess around with stuff.
There's just like all the weapons and armor and stuff that you want.
And then all these power armors over here to mess around with.
So that's it but then the problem becomes how to get out of here.
Can you take stuff out of here that's in your inventory.
But how do you get out of here, you can't.
You're kinda stuck here.
So you gotta know this command.
And you just gotta know a specific place to go.
An easy one is redrocketext.
And then it just takes you to red rocket.
You can use that COC to go like anywhere if you know the name of the tile.
Andy Bowman, thank you so much for showing us I guess the essential cheat [UNKNOWN] to know for Fallout 4.
Yeah, there's plenty more.
Look them up.
I might do another video about them on www.gamespot.com.
