Does this Kenmore range live up to its Pro name? The Kenmore 72583 gas range is modeled after professional-grade appliances, but its performance is pretty amateur.
[MUSIC] Kenmore has professional ambitions with its PRO line. A suite of appliances that are designed for the avid home cook who wants professional grade appliances. Unfortunately, this gas That range from that line the 72583 is more amateur than anything else. Now this Kenmore range does look and feel very professional, especially with the stainless steel finish and the slide and design. But the Kenmore had a really uneven performance Especially when it came to baking, and even roasting, which is usually something that ovens with a convection fan like this one, excel at. Now this gas range does have a few cool points especially its excel a heat feature. With excel a heat you can put a convenience item like a TV dinner or frozen pizza into a cold oven and you don't need Preheated, and the oven will cook it right away. And even that, though it was really cool when it came to heating up the cheese pizza, got us some really bad, aka burnt results with some cinnamon rolls we tried with the accelaheat. I expected a lot more from a range that comes from a professional line of appliances, and it's $2,900 price tag is a big turn off when you take into account its performance. Overall, This oven is a big skip. [MUSIC]
