Dive into Cirque du Soleil's Web show, Movi.Kanti.Revo
-Movi, Kanti, Revo is a HTML5 project from Google and Cirque Du Soleil of all groups that's designed to show you what the modern browser can do.
I am Seth Rosenblatt for CNET.
And today we are checking out this amazing browser-based world that actually works in most browsers.
The Movi, Kanti, Revo project is similar in concept to a Google a few years ago with arcade fires video for
their song "The Wilderness Downtown".
In that, they used HTML5 and Geo location to personalize the video.
This time however, HTML5 and CSS 3 have come so far that you can actually create and immersive world in response to your input and for that Google partner with masters of acrobatic immersion Cirque Du Soleil.
Everything in the 10 minute experience from the 3D graphics to the webcam to the microphone interactivity is powered by HTML5,
So this is one Cirque show that you are meant to enjoy from wherever you've got a computer running in modern browser.
Movi, Kanti, Revo will work on tablets and some smartphones too depending on hardware configurations and browser compatibility.
The implications of the project could run deep as artist and developers are no longer required to quote for proprietary plugins just to get their visions out to the world.
And just as important Movi, Kanti, Revo is a seriously fun world to explore.
For CNET, I'm Seth Rosenblatt.
