"Countdown to the iPad 3"
will start after this message from our sponsors.
Countdown to the iPad 3
Oh man, where is it?
I am bleeding.
It's okay, don't worry.
It's coming today.
She said it would be here like by now right now.
I know but I think we have it coming.
It's real cute.
Don't touch that.
With flowers and stuff.
Well, why you all run ahead?
What's going on?
Well, my girlfriend said she will send me a package today.
It's Valentines Day.
I've been waiting here all day.
Sorry, kinda funny you said girlfriend?
A real one, right?
Yeah, a real one?
What the hell?
We will get your real package from your real girlfriend for you, Brian.
Don't worry Brian, they're just jerks.
Yeah, they are jerks.
You know what?
I am gonna teach him a lesson?
Oh, you're in trouble.
Brian Tong here on a special Valentines Edition of the Apple Byte.
It's all the good and the bad inside the world of Apple and nothing says I love you more than this story according to All Things D and the Loop Blog, Apple will introduce the iPad3 or iPad HD in the first week of March.
There is no official street date for the iPad's release yet but the announcement will be held at one of Apple's trademark events in San Francisco presumably at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts.
And if you want a peak at it and these new pictures from Apple.pro are to be believed you might be looking at the exterior of the iPad 3 (booty?).
Now, the main thing here if you notice is the camera placement that is closer to the edge and is no longer a circle shaped lens which will mean all new cases and accessories.
Thanks Apple, we love spending more money.
Now, the site also claims that the pictures of the Smart cover magnets and suggests the next gen iPad will show the same smart cover as the iPad2.
Now, this comes up to Repair Live Show got their own pictures as what's reportedly is the inside of the rear plate of the iPad traits with minor design changes that suggests space for a larger battery and a redesigned logic board.
And who would have known?
iPad3 shows available now at several of your local black markets.
And in case you didn't know, the New York Times is also saying the new iPad will have a truly amazing screen before the products is launched.
Great review guys.
Now, in Apple TV News, Canadian newspaper, the Globe and Mail reports that Apple is speaking out active partnership for their upcoming Apple TV with companies like Rogers Communications and BCE Inc.
who have wireless and broadband capability.
Now, the paper also claims the company has already have the Apple TV Prototype in their lab, Siri integrated in to the TV set like men expect but hand gesture can also be used for interacting with an on screen keyboard, surfing the web or conducting video chats and more all without any physical inter phase.
So we'll see if that's really true or not.
Let's take a quick break and showcase an app worth tapping for this very special commercialized Man-Made Day that we call Valentines Day.
Welcome to Tap that App.
I am Brian Tong and this is a show where we cover the hottest apps in the mobile space.
Now, Valentines day is just around the corner.
You need to impress your significant other so your luck because you just checked in to the Love Doctor's Office.
Now, some of us are really not the best in arts and craft or working with our hands but we're good with our fingers on an iPad.
So guys, get out of your comfort zone a little and check out ScrapPad.
It's a $4.99 app but it also has completely free versions for the holidays and special occasion just like Valentines Day.
Plus, it's also a great way to spend time with someone because, let's face it, girls like it when you do the things they do except when you try on her 5-inch heels on clubby night.
All right now, all you have to do is choose pictures from your photo gallery.
You can move them around.
You can resize them and rotate them.
You can add text or quote special comments.
There are backgrounds you can pick from and a selection of borders to make pictures.
Even more unique, and a a girl's favorite part, embellishments.
A kitty with a heart.
It's so cute.
You'll also be able to create multiple scrapbooks and reorder the pages any way you like and then print them as well.
Plus, with the paid version of the app, you'll have more themes with additional stickers and elements and the ability to even purchase more themes to the kit's store for 99 cents.
That's so cute.
It's so cute.
Just like you.
And just think, after all that hard work, you can finally give that special someone a scrapbook that they'll love just as much as you did making it with ScrapPad.
I hate Valentines Day.
Hey, check this out.
Look what I made you with the ScrapPad app.
And maybe they'll work a little bit better for you.
All right, guys.
If you have any other apps you'd like us to show off, well make sure there is something I'd tap.
So send them at email@example.com.
I am Brian Tong.
Thanks for watching and we'll see you guys next time.
Like I've said before Apple Byters, pay attention to everything in the show and you will go far.
All right, on to the Quick Bytes.
Another followup to the (Fox on?) story, Apple in San Francisco Union Square Retail location received a visit from (??) activist to deliver 250,000 signatures asking Apple to use our influence to improve its working condition.
Apple retail said they would respond to the activist within the week.
Now, on the software side, Apple has released (EFI?) former updates that brings LAN internet recovery to late 2010 Macbook Airs, mid-2010 iMAc and early 2010 Macbook Pro.
It's another fallback option to reinstall line if your recovery partition is inaccessible.
Tech and Acer reports Siri's support is coming for Mandarin Chinese leaving out McKennedy's speaking pips for now.
It will also add Japanese and Russian some time next month but still there's no update for Scottish and it's not coming anytime soon.
And if you're an Apple lover from way way back, check out this awesome retro case for your iPhone from Schreer Delights.
These are amazing cases featuring designs that pay (??) to the original Macintosh even with its (??) part, those colorful iMacs that came in a rainbow of colors and the iPads that took Apple in a whole new direction of the consumer space.
Now, you'll be able to purchase them from this site for $44 through PayPal.
That's it for this week.
E-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll answer.
I am Brian Tong and we'll catch you next time for another Byte of the Apple.
What do we have here?
