Cardo Scala 700 Bluetooth HeadsetThe Cardo Scala 700 is a compact, lightweight headset with excellent sound quality. Extra features, such as a headset locator and swap technology, make it one of the better headsets we've tested.
[ Music ] ^M00:00:01 >> I'm Nicole Lee, assistant editor at CNET.com and this is the Cardo Scalla [assumed spelling] 700. It is a pretty lightweight compact Blue Tooth headset. Very large control button in the front here. On the top here is a rocker wheel but it can also be pressed down. And on the back here is the contoured earpiece and the flexible ear loop. The unique features of this headset include noise reduction technology so that calls sound really crisp and clear. There's also slot technology so they can slot the headset between different cell phones. There's also a really cool battery strength indicator feature so that you can tell how much battery life the headset has. A particularly unique feature of the Cardo Scalla 700 is the headset locator feature. What you do is you make a call to your cell phone and then you toggle the volume buttons of your cell phone up and down and then the headset will buzz. [ buzzing noise ] So that way you can know where your headset is when you're making a phone call. We're not entirely sure this is all too useful just because you have to make a call in order to find out where your headset is. So it's a little bit inconvenient. Otherwise we really like the headset, it's really nice and compact. It fits pretty good in the ear, very comfortable to wear, and sound quality was great as well. My name is Nicole Lee and this has been the Cardo Scalla 700 Blue Tooth headset. ^M00:01:24 [ Music ]
