>> Hi, I'm Molly Wood from CNET.com here at PMA 2009. I'm taking a First Look at the Canon PowerShot SX200 IS. Now you can see that this is a fairly compact digital camera. It's not the biggest or the smallest, but it is a 12-megapixel camera with a 12x optical zoom. So, this form factor compared to some other cameras we've seen even here at PMA is actually fairly sleek, which is nice. Now again, it does have the ultra zoom which is kind of a trend here at PMA this year. And then one cool thing it has here is a pop-up flash. Now, Canon says this actually helps reduce red eye because it keeps the flash a little bit farther away from the lens. Frankly, I think that it just looks kind of old school and I like that. It has some other nice features including HD movie capture, which is a nice touch at this price point. Also face detection and optical image stabilization all of the things that you would expect in a camera of its class. This should be available sometime in March 2009 for $349. For CNET.com, I'm Molly Wood and this has been a First Look at the Canon PowerShot SX200 IS.
