Calls to delay net neutrality vote, Uber settles over rape case

Just days out from a vote to repeal net neutrality, Federal Communications Commissioner Jessica Rosenworcel is calling for an investigation into fraud in public comments.
In an OP ED for Wired, Rosenworcel said more than 23 million comments have been filed with the FCC about net neutrality.
But as many as one million were fraudulent And half a million more were filed from Russian email addresses.
Rosenworcel is one of two democrats on the FCC set to vote against the repel on December 14th.
Uber has settled a lawsuit relating to a woman who was raped by a driver in India in 20 2014.
The original rape case was settled in 2015 but the company faced further legal action after the New York Times and Rape Code reported an Uber Exec.
had obtained the medical records of the victim, according to court documents filed on Friday.
The case will be dismissed in January though settlement terms weren't revealed.
Uber did not respond to our request for comment.
