CNET First Look
Bring bluetooth connectivity to the cookout with the iGrill MiniBluetooth-enabled iGrill Mini packs a bunch of smart features into its tiny frame.
Hi, guys. I'm Megan Wollerton for CNET appliances, here with a review of iDevices' iGrill Mini. The iGrill Mini is a cute compact thermometer probe, but it's so much more than that. It costs $39.99, which is a really good deal when you consider all the features packed into this little guy. First of all, it has a magnetic mount so you can actually just attach it right to your grill or your oven or anything else that's magnetized. iDevices claims that this probe can handle temperatures ranging from negative 22 to 572 degrees Fahrenheit. And that's pretty incredible, and it also means that it can handle a lot of different heating environments. So you can put it in the grill, you can stick it on your oven; pretty much anything, it can handle it. So the coolest part about this thermometer probe is that it works with Bluetooth Smart technology, Bluetooth 4.0. So basically, you just have to pair it to your iOS device and then you can monitor your food remotely without having to check back on your food all the time. Well, overall, it's great. It's easy to use. It's a good value. I have no complaints about it. It's really perfect if you wanna be a little more hands off with your grilling. Thanks for watching.
