Bowflex Max Intelligence coaches you through your workout
Here at CES 2019, we've seen a lot of cool stuff.
But this is a really, really cool thing.
It's a smart home fitness device.
And it's part of a broader ecosystem.
So this thing I'm standing on is the Bowflex M8.
It's a fitness trainer.
It's sort of like a stair climber, but it also incorporates high intensity interval workouts and other things.
But the coolest thing is an optional add-on called the Bowflex.
So, this is a platform basically, and it's an optional thing, but you can have it on your phone or tablet.
It's $15 a month, $14.95, or you can pay for the whole year.
And it basically is like having a personal trainer right on your home fitness device.
So, it walks you through everything you need to do and it sort of adjusts over time to compensate for your level of fitness.
So, if you're struggling one it might make the next day's workout Got a little bit more simple which is definitely the kind of thing I need when I'm working out at home.
I need motivation but I also need somebody to tell me to stop and take it a little bit easy.
So I think this is a really cool thing and it's part of a broader trend that we're seeing in the smart home where they're Our in-home fitness devices that have these optional add-ons, where you can actually get personal home fitness.
But really what we're seeing here is part of a broader trend to take studio equipment, stuff you would see in a regular gym, into your home.
