CNET First Look
Bose Bluetooth HeadsetThe Bose Bluetooth Headset might be a stylish headset with a recognizable brand, but its lack of features and average performance do not fit its high price tag.
I'm Nicole Lee, Senior Associate Editor for CNET.com, and this is a first look at the Bose Bluetooth Headset. This is the first ever Bluetooth headset form Bose, which usually makes high-end audio equipment. And it is a very tiny little headset, as you can see here. On the front is the Bose branding, of course. On the side here, you do get the power slider switch. On the other side, you do get the multi-purpose call button as well as the volume rocker. On the top is the charging port. On the back is the earpiece, with its very comfortable ear gel. In fact, we think it might be one of the most comfortable headsets we've ever tried. The Bose Bluetooth Headset is available for $150, which sounds pretty expensive, considering a few negative points. It only fits in the right ear. It has not A2DP streaming. It does have multi-point technology however, but that's still not enough to justify the high price. The Bose Bluetooth Headset doesn't even have dual microphone, noise cancelation. It has this regular noise cancelation. The overall audio quality was still pretty good. But it just wasn't as good as we expected. I am Nicole Lee, and this has been a first look at the Bose Bluetooth Headset.
