Best Bluetooth speakers for the great outdoorsWhether you're sitting around a campfire, chilling at the beach or planning a Labor Day picnic, a good, portable speak can liven up the party. In this Tech Minute CNET's Sharon Profis has a few suggestions for better sharing your tunes with friends.
[MUSIC] The TDK Trek Max A34 speaker is an ideal pick me companion, thanks to its size and sturdy design. The $135 speaker is water resistant, letting you worry less about splashes, and has a battery life of about eight hours, plus a USB port lets you charge your phone while you jam out. The ultimate ears boom is the compact and durable wireless bluetooth speaker that's pretty wide for its size. It's also water and stain resistant, offers 50 hours of battery life and well suited to outdoor use. It's a little pricey at around $200 but worthwhile for that looking for bigger battery. Finally the blue sounding color is the most compact and colorful of the band. The $130 speaker comes in a variety of colors and has an eight hour battery life. It's not splash-resistant so you'll have to be extra careful about where you place it. In San Francisco, I'm Sharon Profis at CNet.com for CBS News. [SOUND]
