Foursquare is getting more competitive with Yelp.
The check in network just launched the rating system for local businesses.
Users of the iOS app can rate a place on a 10-point score, which is a lot like what Yelp does, but Foursquare says, "The rating system also calculates in users tips, popularity, loyalty and the number of check ins,"
although Foursquare is trading on Yelp's territory, Yelp has been creeping in on Foursquare space to highlight the connections of your friends activity such as their check ins, photos, and tips.
Yelp also rolled out a change to each app.
Apple and android users can just pull off restaurant menus and see photos and reviews of each item.
Amazon prime is now offering a payment option of 8 dollars a month, the same price as Netflix and Hulu.
Previously, you had to sign up for Amazon prime subscription in a year lump sum of $80,
and the option is still available, it's about 20% cheaper than going month to month, but having that monthly option is just another way Amazon is trying to take on the other streaming video services.
Prime is more than just video.
It lets customers barrow thousand of Kindle e-books and it includes free 2-day shipping on millions of items.
In other news, Instagram users are getting web profiles.
Before, there was no real home page for a user in how to use the Instagram app to look someone's feed, but now users get their URL
You still need the app to upload photos though.
Amazon lockers will be at Staples Stores.
A Staples spokeswoman spilled the news to Reuters.
Amazon has already been putting lockers in different grocery stores and markets since the pickup service launched last year.
You see, instead of having the small package delivered to your home, you could pick it up for free at a locker, and there's a repot that Microsoft on a Surface Tablet.
The Verge has unnamed sources saying
that this Xbox surface would have a smallest 7-inch display and we've heard rumors of an Xbox Surface back in June.
It sounds like those would be Microsoft's product for really pushing smart glass, the new feature that let you interact with games and navigate media on your windows tablet.
Speaking of games, Halo 4 came out Tuesday and our viewers are calling this the best Halo game yet.
Developer Bungie has passed Halo franchise onto 343 Industries, which will be making a brand new trilogy of Halo games.

but it was said to be refreshing improvement and a must buy for anyone who likes first person shooters.
