>> I'm David Cardy. I'm going to give you a quick video tour of the B&W P5 headphone. In case you don't know what B&W stands for, it's Bowers and
Wilkins. This is a pion British audio company, but in recent years it's come out with some more consumer products. These are $300 headphones, so they
compete with some of the Boze models out there. They're not noise canceling, however, but they do have a very nice high-end construction to them.
They appear very solidly built. They have sort of a both modern and retro look to them. This is an over-the-ear design. They have nice leather plush
ear cups, and they're actually detachable. They adhere by magnets. And there's a point where the cord attaches inside. The cord is replaceable. And on that cord there's a microphone and a line control that you can use with your cell phone. These are designed out of the box to work with the iPhone, but they can be used with other cell phones. And they actually work very well as a cell phone headset. The sound is really isolated, and callers said that we sounded actually loud and clear. As for the audio performance, they sound really good. They have a nice, warm sound to them. They're
well-balanced and nice type bass. We have heard headphones that deliver bigger boomier base. So if you like your base like that, you may not want
these headphones. It's also worth mentioning that since these have an over-the-ear design, they're not quite as open sounding as some of the open back
headphones out there that some people like, but they also don't leak your music. People can't hear your music, and they do shut out a lot of noise,
even though they're not active noise cancelling headphones. These guys are passive noise cancelling headphones. But if you are looking at an active
voice cancelling headphone like the Bose Quiet Comfort 3, these just don't quite shut out the sound as well as those do, but these have arguably better
sound. One drawback we should mention is because these guys are made out of leather and they do sit on your ears, they will get a little steamy in
warmer environments. I'm David Cardy, and those are the B&W P5 headphones.
