Welcome to Tap that App. I'm Jason Parker and this is the show we cover the hottest apps in the mobile space. New Year is coming up pretty soon and it's well known that many people take this opportunity to make a fresh start with New Year's resolutions. But it's also pretty well known that whether it's a new diet, a plan to save money or some other lofty goal, New Year's resolutions often prove to be tough to stick with. One of the more common New Year's resolutions is to become more organized. And our app this week might be just the ticket to make this resolution stick. It's called Awesome Note. I know it's been on the market for quite a while. Updates about it, more than enough features to keep you organized with your busy schedule in the New Year. When you launch Awesome Note the home screen lets you view category folders so you can get to the list you want quickly. Open a folder to choose the list you want to add or edit. If you want a reminder for a specific item you can set a due date or alarm by tapping on the item, then tapping the due date box. Then you can hit the calendar view button at the bottom to check your schedule. And plan your to-dos for the future. One of the great things about Awesome Note is the huge number of ways you can customize your lists. You can customize top level folder views to display items the way you want; as thumbnails, list view, to-do list, detail views and more. Then once you're in and out you can customize backgrounds to make specific notes stand out. If you don't need any customization and just want to get a note into the app quickly simply launch the app and tap new note for a quick listing. Or just a quick memo so you remember to add in more details later. Both are available on the first screen for easy access. Once you have your schedule squared away, Awesome Note has a few options for sending and syncing notes. The app supports both Google documents and Evernote. So you'll be able to sync up your list to view them on your desktop or anywhere you can log in with a browser. You can even send notes to another iPhone user nearby using a bluetooth connection. Awesome Note goes for 3.99 in the iTunes App Store. You can also check out the light version for free. With all these handy features, plenty of customizations and easy syncing of your to-do list those with New Year's resolutions to get more organized should definitely tap this app. That's it for this week's show. But if you have any suggestions send them to firstname.lastname@example.org. I'm Jason Parker, Happy New Year everybody.
