Asus PadFone X is a phone-tablet hybridThis quirky gadget is coming to AT&T -- check out our First Look video.
Hello, tech fans. I'm Luke Westaway for CNET here at CES 2014. We're taking a look at the Asus PadFone X. It's another one of ASUS smartphones that docks into a tablet. So let's talk about the phone first. It's a high-end Android smartphone. You got a 5-inch 1080p screen. Inside, there's a quad-core processor. So, it should run nice and fast, and it's running Android 4.4 KitKat. The phone docks into the back of the tablet, which has a 9-inch screen, also a 1080p, which is nice, and that activates the tablet's screen. Now, what's cool is the tablet has its own battery source. So you can charge this up separately, and if you're a little low on power in your phone, you can plug it in to the tablet and it will charge up the mobile. There's no price or release date yet, but while we wait for that information, why don't you let us know what you think of this phone-tablet hybrid concept? I'm Luke Westaway for CNET.
