Android 4.1 Jelly Bean a sweet Android updateNew features large and small make Android 4.1 a notable update to an already great OS.
It was only last October about Google introduced Android four point oh ice cream and -- But -- never canceled the Google sweet shop because here comes and -- -- point planet -- I got -- -- for CNET with a first look at jelly -- running on the Samsung Galaxy Nexus are. Here -- the highlight. First Google has set up and higher operating system so that everything a little bit faster and a little bits -- Here -- comparing it to a Galaxy Nexus running averaged four point out. Now -- like widgets but you're gonna love that certain ones are now sizable as a lot -- of space for them on any given home screen. I also really love and Google's doing to enrich the notifications bar. Now and -- many emails you when you miss a call when -- -- -- screen shot you get a Google+ photo and so on. You'll be able to get more information about whatever the item is in the notification shade. You'll also be able to interact with it from there and as usual you can -- it away when you're done. Google has -- a lot of work with voice and keyboard search. It's just -- voice actions with a completely revamped search app that you can now pull up from the home button on the bottom. You can ask a range of questions like Google. When was Aretha Franklin born. -- images of kittens. Sometimes you'll get a card with the answers and other times you'll get web search results. You can also voice navigate through location search nearby and -- But possibly the most useful new feature is Google now which is connected to the Google Voice app. They can do things like automatically estimate your commute times check your flight times and present sport scores for your favorite teams. It is your favorite teams because you had searched for them that way it works is -- Google will carry unlikely check your GPS coordinates and calendar to see where you are. -- in your commute and discern when you're traveling. Since I just got this on I haven't actually -- a lot of time to test out those features but they do some really useful and it vaguely creepy sort of way. Another aspect of voice is offline -- -- summer every can't get online you can still dictate a message or email works pretty well. I am now dictating an email message from the train and I have absolutely. No Wi-Fi connectivity and new data connection either period. The new Google paper -- magazine subscriptions movie purchases and TV episode. You can download all the contents for offline viewing which is awesome for my daily -- me.
